“Red, White and Tuna!” and even more fun in 2010!

The Fanny Hill Dinner Theater is proud to present-

Red, White, and Tuna
January 29-April 4
by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, Ed Howard

Tuna…third smallest town in Texas. It’s the 4th of July and time for the Tuna High School Class Reunion. Everyone will be there, all thirty of them. And you know what? They’re all played by two actors! A show packed full of fireworks and fun about the town where the Lion’s Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies.

And don’t miss the rest of their 2010 line up!

Don’t Hug Me: County Fair
April 9-June 20
By Paul and Phil Olson

All new musical fun at Clara and Gunner’s Bunyan Bar in northern Minnesota. Clara enters the Miss Walleye Pageant. (Winner gets their face carved in butter at the Minnesota State Fair!) The fun really starts when Gunner’s twin sister (played by the actor) shows up intent on competing for the Miss Walleye crown.                   –Oh-fer FUN!

Always…Patsy Cline
June 25-August 22
by Ted Swindley

This musical tribute is complete with down home country humor and many of Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams and Waking After Midnight27 songs in all.  The show was inspired by Cline’s letters to a fan, which she always signed “Love ALWAYS… Patsy Cline.”                                      –Simply A MUST SEE!

On Golden Pond
August 27-October 31
by Ernest Thompson

This is the love story of Ethel and Norman, who are returning to their summer home on Golden Pond for the forty-eighth year. We all remember the movie with Katherine Hepburn and Henry and Jane Fonda. Wry humor, much affection, and a keen sense of life well-lived have made this show a timeless classic.                           –Touching and VERY funny.

You Better Watch Out

November 5-January 23, 2011
by Don Hodgins

It’s Christmas Eve at the Willow Inn. A snowstorm strands an “interesting” mix of guests.  Our hero Rudy and his very pregnant wife Marsha, innkeepers Tom and Jenny, her dad Art, handyman Andy, and “Mr. Smith” try to keep the holidays

Chateau St. Croix

Old world charm in the heart of the beautiful St. Croix River Valley. Chateau St. Croix Winery & Vineyard invites your group to explore their winery with a 1/2 hour tour that shows the whole wine making process. Each guest is then invited to experience their fine wines in the tasting room and receive a special glass to commemorate the visit.

Their website explains how this European style estate came to the St. Croix RiverValley:

A true appreciation for wine can be uncovered in the lush wine valleys of Europe, where history and tradition are as rich as the wine itself. It was within the Rhine Valley of Germany where Troy and Laura Chamberlin developed a love for all things wine.

The Chamberlins lived in Egelsbach, Germany for several years while Troy served in the United States Air Force. The couple frequented wineries throughout Europe. Upon returning to Minnesota, Troy and Laura decided to bring the romance of the European wineries to the Midwest.

With a zealous vision and a passionate determination, the Chamberlin’s set forth to create their dream: bringing a European-style winery to the rolling hills of the St. Croix Valley.

We are proud to introduce to you Chateau St. Croix, a winery created in the image of a European estate, complete with vineyards, a carriage house, stables, formal gardens and a fishing pond.

A New Attraction in Wausau!

Annette has just introduced me to a whole new attraction in the Wausau area.  The Wisconsin Black Bear Education Center.

Meet Vince, Sonny and Moon…

This black bear sanctuary allows visitors to watch from safety behind a fence, while Jeff Traska gets close up and friendly with the bears. It also allows observation of black bears in a natural environment to better understand their behavior out in the wild.

Pictures are the best way to describe this new attraction:
