DAY ONE
8:00 – 8:30 AM St. Croix National Scenic Riverway Visitor Center
Start your tour of Northern Wisconsin with an introduction to the history and conservation of this important waterway.
8:30 – 9:30 AM Interstate Park and Ice Age Interpretive Center
Interstate Park is the western end of the Ice Age Trail, which meanders 1500 miles across Wisconsin. Stretch your legs on a short hike on the Pothole Trail. Visit the Center and view the exhibits to learn about the frozen history of Wisconsin and the gifts of the glacier.
9:45 – 11:15 AM
Explore the shops and art galleries of St. Croix Falls.
11:45 AM – 1:00 PM Chateau St Croix Winery & Vineyard
Crafted in the image of an European estate, complete with an art gallery, vineyard, carriage house, stables, gardens and a fishing pond. Escape to another time and sample some of the Chateau’s award-
wining wines and enjoy a delightful lunch.
1 ½ hours travel time to Webb Lake/Minong.
2:45 PM Heartwood Conference Center & Resort
Nestled in the heart of 700 acres of natural woodlands surrounding two private lakes. Enjoy an old-fashioned hayride, walk the “red chair” loop challenge or sit on the patio and admire the colors of
the leaves reflecting in the lake. After your specially-prepared dinner, marvel at the star-laden night sky above while keeping toasty warm around the patio bonfire.
DAY TWO
7:00 – 8:00 AM Breakfast at Heartwood.
2 hours travel time to Bayfield and the Madeline Island Ferry.
10:30 AM – 3:00 PM Madeline Island Ferry Line
Leave your cares behind as your coach boards the only car-carrying ferry on Lake Superior! You will be in the hands of an Island expert as the fascinating history and beauty of Madeline Island unfolds before you. A stop for a delicious lunch is part of your tour observing Island life.
3:30 – 6:00 PM
Enjoy the ride and the Mother Nature’s fabulous fall show as you meander through one of Wisconsin’s beautiful forests. Established in 1925 to protect the headwaters of the Wisconsin, Flambeau and Manitowish rivers, the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest occupies more than 225,000 acres in Vilas, Oneida and Iron counties
6:00 PM Minocqua
Arrive at Minocqua and check in at one of our recommended lodging facilities. Enjoy another northern Wisconsin dining experience with friendly waitresses, a warm atmosphere and great food. The rest of the evening is yours to relax, shop for that special Wisconsin gift or stroll along the lakeshore.
Day Three
8:30 AM Enjoy a hearty Northwoods breakfast at one of our unique dining spots.
9:00 -10:00 AM Wildwood Wildlife Park
See with your hands as well as your eyes. Wildwood is the largest interactive petting zoo in Wisconsin with over 500 animals and birds, including wolf, black bear, elk, bobcat, buffalo, white-tailed deer and
mountain lions.
2 hours travel time to Pembine
12:00 – 3:00 PM Four Seasons Resort on Miscuano Island
Revel in the grandeur of the past at this resort, located in the middle of the Menominee River. After lunch, enjoy a guided pontoon cruise around Miscauno Island and the Miscauno Wildlife Area.
1 Hour travel time to Carter.
4:00 – 6:45 PM Potawatomi Bingo/Northern Lights Casino
Experience the great entertainment within the walls of the casino with plenty of gaming action in the new Northern Lights Casino. Dine at The Springs Restaurant.
2 hours travel time to Wausau.
9:00 PM Check in, relax and enjoy a crisp autumn evening at one of the Wausau Area’s group

Day Four
7:30 – 8:30 AM Start the day right with a complete breakfast!
9:00 – 10:00 AM Comet Sky Ride
A new way to see the fall foliage of the Wisconsin River Valley! The colors will surround you as you ride the Sky Comet chairlift at Granite Peak to the top of Rib Mountain State Park.
10:20 – 11:20 AM Birds In Art at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum
This internationally juried exhibit is a fall classic, drawing bird and art enthusiast from across the nation. The Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum is Wisconsin’s “Little Museum with a Big Reputation.” Take time to enjoy the crisp fall air with a stroll through their sculpture garden.
11:30 – 12:30 PM Raptor Education Group
You explored their world in the paintings and sculptures of Birds In Art, now become a part of their world through hearing their stories and a live raptor presentation.
