8:30 – 9:30 AM Pattison State Park Visit Wisconsin’s tallest waterfall, 165′ Big Manitou, and accompany the Park’s Naturalist on a narrated tour of its unique geology and history.
10:00 -11:30 AM Richard I. Bong WWII Heritage Center Honoring “America’s Ace of Aces” Richard I Bong and the courageous men and women who defended
America’s freedom in WWII.
11:45 – 12:45 PM Lunch Enjoy lunch at one of our recommended Group Tour dining spots.
1:00 – 1:45 PM Gawboy Murals – Superior Public Library Thirty-five colorful murals depict Douglas County’s history beginning with the Ojibwe Nation’s Story of Creation and spanning the next 150 years of development.
2:00 – 2:45 PM Duluth Pottery – Superior Division Rare Maiolica finished wheel-thrown, hand-built and hand-painted dinnerware, cups, bowls, vases, pots, and planters created in the historic old Police Station.
3:00 – 4:00 PM Fairlawn Mansion Built in 1899, this 42-room Victorian mansion recalls the elegance and prosperity of Superior’s early boomtown days.

DAY 2

10:00- 4:00 PM Madeline Island (Return On 3:30 Ferry) Your coach will board the only car-carrying ferry service on Lake Superior! Madeline’s fascinating history and beauty will unfold before your eyes while you tour with an Island expert. At the museum you’ll discover the lifestyles of the first Island residents, as well as today’s. A wonderful lunch is included in your time on the Island. 4:00 – 5:00 PM Maritime Museum Discover 150 years of Bayfield’s maritime heritage. Exhibits include commercial fishing, lighthouses, shipwrecks, boat building traditions, and hands-on demonstrations. Explore on your own or enlist one of our knowledgeable museum guides to enhance your visit.
1 ½ hours travel time to Cable
6:30 PM Return to Lakewoods for evening activities and a good night’s sleep.
DAY 3

9:00 – 10:00 AM Pontoon Boat Ride at Lakewoods Resort Relax and enjoy the morning routines of the native wildlife of the lake and its shores. Greet the morning as the sun rises to warm the shores.

1:00 PM Wausau/Central Wisconsin CVB Home to pioneers of all types: empire-building lumber barons, farmers of unusual crops and businessmen who created industry giants. The tales of Central Wisconsin are seen with each turn. 1:15 – 2:15 PM Enjoy lunch at one of our fine restaurants.
2:30 – 3:30 PM Van Der Geest Dairy This family farm has stepped into the new millennium with the latest dairy technology. They have 3,000 head of cattle and milk 3 times a day – with just 5 pairs of hands per shift!
3:45 – 4:45 PM Andrew Warren Historic District A guided tour through the district that is home to a famous depot, the birthplace of Wausau Insurance and the tales of people that molded our community. 5:00 – 6:00 PM Best Western Midway The Best Western Midway offers 99 oversize guestrooms, complimented with our full service on site restaurant and banquet facilities. Enjoy tasty cocktails in Cali’s lounge or a scenic view of Rib Mountain from our outdoor café.
6:15 – 7:15 PM Enjoy a relaxing dinner at one of many locally owned or national chain restaurants.
7:30 – 9:00 PM Salem Lutheran Church Pipe Organ Experience Bach – unplugged! This fully mechanical pipe organ boasts 2,511 pipes and 38 stops and one masterful organist. You are invited to become the musician following the concert.

8:30 – 10:30 AM Hsu’s Ginseng Enterprise The largest ginseng enterprise in
America. See the fields and production area, and even sample some of the many products made with ginseng.
