DAY ONE
Pembine
12:00 – 3:00 pm The Four Seasons Resort Miscuano Island
Experience the grandeur of the past at this resort, located in the middle
of the Minominee River. Enjoy a delightful lunch on site and then a guided pontoon cruise of the 1st buds of spring and the Miscauno Wildlife Area while traveling up the Minominee River and around Miscauno Island.

4:15 – 7:00 pm Potawatomi Bingo Northern Lights Casino
Situated in the heart of Forest County, in Carter WI, guests to the new
Northern Lights Casino facility will experience great entertainment within the walls of the casino, and plenty of action. Dinner is included at The Springs Restaurant. You could leave here with an even bigger spring in your step!
2 ½ hour travel time to Wakefield, MI
9:30 pm Indianhead Mountain Tours
Providing complete receptive services and one stop shopping for bus tours in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan & Northern Wisconsin. This will be your home for the next two nights.
Check in and the rest of the evening is yours to explore the lodge as well as the fresh, crisp outdoor air.
DAY TWO
7:30 – 8:30 am Indianhead Mountain Tours
You will spend today outdoors seeing the wonderful sights and hearing the wonderful sounds of the area. Start with breakfast at the resort.
9:00 am Depart for a tour of the 14 mile Black River Parkway. You will be with a step-on guide all day, who will describe the history as well as the attractions of the region. Stop at one of the waterfalls that surge along this route and walk across the swinging bridge at Black River Harbor.
11:00 – 12:00 pm Drive into Ironwood to tour the superb Art Deco Theater and drive by Hiawatha, the world’s tallest Indian.
12:00 – 1:00 pm Enjoy lunch at one of the fine restaurants in the Ironwood-Bessemer area.
1:00 – 5:00 pm Porcupine Mountain State Park
This is a nature lovers dream – 59,000 acres of brawling mountain rivers, lakes, virgin forests, and wildlife abounds! The tour begins to the Wilderness visitor’s center with an informative multi-media presentation on the park. From there it’s on to Lake of the Clouds, with an easily accessible stunning overlook of the Lake and the Park. Bring your camera and your binoculars! From here, travel through the Park to waterfall viewing at Presque Isle Falls, including Manabezho and Manido Falls. Then on to Newadaha Falls. The beauty within this Park is rather incredible.
5:00 pm Back at the lodge to freshen up for dinner and an evening activity at the lodge.
DAY THREE
7:30 – 8:30 am Start with breakfast at the resort, while luggage is loaded
2 ½ hour travel time to Superior
11:15 – 12:00pm Amnicon Falls State Park
Take a short hike along the Park’s four waterfalls as they tumble over the Douglas Fault. Cross the 1930’s bowstring covered bridge.
12:00 – 1:00pm Have lunch at one of Superior’s group friendly restaurants
1:15 – 3:00pm SS Meteor Maritime Museum
The world’s last remaining innovative “whaleback” ship built in 1896. Hear the ship’s whistle and see the original steam engine as you tour from pilot house to cargo holds. Also included is some shopping time at the Island shops located next to the Museum.
3:15- 4:30pm Fairlawn Mansion
Built in 1899, this 42-room Victorian mansion recalls the elegance and prosperity of Superior’s early boomtown days.
4:45pm Check in at one of the recommended lodging facilities and freshen-up.
5:30 – 8:30pm Vista Fleet Dinner Cruise
Enjoy a buffet dinner alongside ocean freighters, ore and coal docks, and exciting harbor activity on a narrated harbor cruise.
9:00 pm Return to hotel for a good nights sleep.
DAY FOUR
7:30 – 8:30 am Breakfast at the hotel while luggage is loaded
3 hour travel time to Eau Claire
12:00 – 1:00pm Dine at a delightful Eau Claire restaurant
1:30 – 4:00pm Beaver Creek Reserve
This is the special place where you can share, explore, experience and learn about the rich natural diversity of Wisconsin’s Chippewa Valley.It is home to a multitude of birds, wildlife and native flowers. Take a guided tour with a naturalist as well as visit the Wise Nature Center.
4:30 pm Welcome Reception and check in at the Eau Claire Holiday Inn Campus Area. Easily accessible and conveniently located, the Holiday Inn is ready to serve groups. Comfortably appointed rooms, and a continental breakfast are just a few of the features it offers.
6:00 – 10:00pm Fanny Hill Inn and Dinner Theatre
For over 29 years, this dinner theatre has been delighting audiences with the fun and magic of live theatre. With wonderful gardens and grounds, delicious food, and incredible theatre, there is something for everyone!
10:15 Return to the Holiday Inn Campus Area for bed after this full day.
