A mysterious past has done little to taint the glorious appeal of The Four Seasons Resort, located in northeast Marinette County, near Pembine, Wisconsin. The resort was originally built as the Miscauno Inn in 1905. A devastating fire burned it to ashes in 1923 and it was rebuilt as The Four Seasons Club in 1925 around the remains of the original fireplace. This historic resort, as well as the new all-suite hotel, stands tall on Miscauno Island in the middle of the Menominee River, reached only by a hundred year old, one lane bridge.
